Remembering Giorgio Armani: A Legend of Fashion Leaves Us

Tribute from Lative Colours of Fashion

The world of fashion has lost one of its greatest icons.

Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91, leaving behind a legacy that forever transformed global style and elegance.

The Armani Group, in its official statement, shared:

“With infinite sorrow, the Armani Group announces the passing of its creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani.”

Armani was more than a designer — he was a visionary who redefined modern Italian fashion. Known as “Re Giorgio” (King Giorgio), he combined creativity with business mastery, building a fashion empire worth billions. His sharp eye for detail went beyond clothing; from advertising campaigns to runway perfection, he personally shaped every element of his brand.

Even in his later years, his dedication was unmatched. Though health challenges forced him to miss his group’s shows at Milan Men’s Fashion Week earlier this year — the first time in his career — his influence and presence remained deeply felt in the fashion world.

A funeral chamber will be set up in Milan this weekend, followed by a private funeral.

At Lative Colours of Fashion, we join the global fashion community in mourning the passing of Giorgio Armani. His designs were more than garments — they were timeless statements of sophistication, elegance, and individuality.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Armani family and the entire fashion fraternity.

His work will continue to inspire us as we strive to bring luxury, exclusivity, and timeless elegance into every piece we create for women.

Giorgio Armani’s legacy is eternal. His vision will live on in every runway, every collection, and every designer who dares to dream.

Rest in peace, Maestro.
